Personal Belongings

These photographs are inspired by Sophie Calle's work and how she photographed in Hotel Room 44....

 

PHOTOSHOP:

The first photo is the original and it is quite dull and two dimensional.

On the second photo it has improved already with just a slight levels adjustment. The colours are much more vibrant

In the third photograph i did a curves adjustment. This has brightened the photograph and really picked out detail. The photograph seems more 3 dimensional than the first one.

ANALYSIS:

I like all of the bright and vibrant colours in this photograph and how i took the picture closer to focus on a smaller section. I could maybe experiment with camera angle to get more different effects.

 PHOTOSHOP:

I did the same processes as i did in the previous one. the first and final image don't look drastically different, but the small changes really do create a more punchy image!

ANALYSIS:

I like this photograph alot, again it is quite a colourful picture. It has a wide depth of field as the things in the background are still visible and sharp. To experiment i could change the focus areas and also change the aperture.
